We are proud to announce that CUBS is now ready for DataHub 3.0.
In August, CUBS received official IT actor certification, and we are pleased to share that all CUBS customers are now certified and ready for the upcoming transition to the new DataHub platform.
This has been an extensive undertaking, during which we have guided nearly a third of the electricity suppliers in the Danish market through the certification process. We are particularly proud of the collective effort achieved in collaboration with our customers throughout the entire actor testing phase.
DataHub 3.0 is the result of a multi-year development and modernization program and represents the most significant change to the Danish electricity market in many years. The solution has been implemented in three phases to ensure a controlled transition for market participants. Phase 1, covering energy and wholesale settlement, went live in September 2024. Phase 2, covering meter data, administration, and calculations, went live in August 2025. Phase 3, which includes market processes for customers and metering points, goes live on September 17, 2026, marking the final transition to the new platform. DataHub 3.0 also supports new technologies, improved data exchange, and a more scalable market platform, ready for the energy market of the future.
With the transition starting on September 17, CUBS is fully focused on ensuring a stable and smooth transition for all our customers. Our specialists are monitoring developments closely and are ready to assist, ensuring that any challenges are handled quickly and efficiently.
After several years of preparation, development, testing, and actor certifications, we feel well-equipped for the upcoming transition. We also see that our customers are strongly prepared, and we therefore look forward to the next milestone in the development of the Danish electricity market with great optimism.
